Michtav Me'Eliyahu

This collection of 5 books written by Rabbi Eliyahu Dessler Zt"l (1892-1953) are a collection of letters and discourses, which became a modern classic. Rav Dessler in his brilliance tackles profoundly deep and important questions in self improvement, spirituality, and philosophy. His books base themselves on a huge range of sources where we are guided through Gemara to more esoteric areas of Kabbalah. These became accepted through most of Ashkenazic Jewry including Chassidim like Chabad and Litvishe and Yeshivish Jews. His writings were profound enough to circulate through so much of Jewry in such a short time.
